DescriptionThe Anatomy in Clay (AIC) System was developed by Jon Zahourek in 1989 with the goal of making anatomy learning fun. He started as a sculptor and artist specializing in human form and went on to study human and animal anatomy. He originally tried to build a full scale human model - without much success, so he scaled it down to what you will experience on the two day workshop or individual workshops. Anatomy in Clay is a dynamic learning experience and through it you will build a comprehensive human form using a 29” Maniken and reusable modeling clay. The system is environmentally friendly; models, clay and tools are non-consumable, non-toxic and non-expendable. The Hip Complex will cover the following:
